1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers (§ 13 BGB) through the online shop www.2storieskids.com.

2. Conclusion of Contract
The product presentations in the online shop do not constitute a binding offer.
By clicking the button "Jetzt kaufen" (Buy now), you place a binding order.
The contract is concluded once we confirm your order by email or ship the goods.
3. Order Process, Contract Text and Language
Order process: You add the desired products to the cart, enter your details, select the shipping and payment method, and review all information on the final order page. There you can identify input errors and correct them before placing your order, or cancel the order process.
Contract text: After the contract is concluded, you will receive your order details in the order confirmation email and, if you have a customer account, in your account. You can view, save and print these Terms at any time on our website.
Contract languages: German, English and French.
4. Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are final prices including statutory VAT, plus shipping costs, which are shown separately during checkout before you place your order.
We deliver to Germany, the other member states of the European Union and selected other European countries (e.g. United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway). The countries available for your order are shown during checkout.
- Germany: €4.99, free shipping for orders of €100 or more
- Other EU countries: €12.90, free shipping for orders of €150 or more
- Other European countries: €18.00
For deliveries to countries outside the EU, additional customs duties, taxes or fees may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.
5. Payment
We offer the payment methods shown during checkout, in particular credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), PayPal, Klarna and Bancontact, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay depending on your device. Available payment methods may vary depending on the delivery country.
Payment is due immediately. When paying with Klarna, Klarna's payment terms additionally apply.
We do not store credit card data on our servers.
6. Delivery
Goods are usually shipped within 2–5 business days after conclusion of the contract. The expected transit time after dispatch can be found in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery is made to the address provided by the customer.
If an item is unavailable, we will inform you without delay.
7. Handmade Products
As our products are handmade, minor variations in size, colour and appearance are possible and do not constitute a defect.
8. Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
9. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. You can declare your withdrawal using the "Vertrag widerrufen" (Withdraw from contract) button in the footer of our website (under "Rechtliches" / Legal), by email to contact@caelan.de, or using the model withdrawal form.

10. Transport Damage / Defects
If the goods arrive damaged or defective, please contact us without delay.
In this case, we will bear the costs of replacement delivery or return.
11. Statutory Warranty
The statutory warranty rights under German law apply.
12. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act.
In cases of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of essential contractual obligations. In this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
13. Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
14. Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers whose habitual residence is outside Germany, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected.
